Hike.

I really love hiking. The only trouble is finding someone to go with. Luckily I've been able to go on a couple hikes the past couple of weeks. Both took place in Griffith Park. My friend Mary Anne and I did a simple hike through the old zoo. She had never seen it before so it was fun to explore.

 You are able to go inside some of the cages. 

After the hike we went down to the Merry-Go-Round.

This bench has a sign that says "Walt Disney sat here". They said he used to take his daughters to this Merry-Go-Round and this is where he got the idea for Disneyland.

Carlsbad

My friends Sandra and Eddie live in Carlsbad. It's about an hour and a half south from me. I've gone down to visit them the past couple of weekends and Sandra came up to see me this weekend.  They live two blocks from the beach which is really awesome because we just walk down there and hang out on nice days. We brought some books and magazines and listened to music. It was very relaxing. 


A few weekends ago we went to Seal Beach in San Diego. It was really cool! The seals were so cute!

 We decided to wear sun hats. But it was really windy and hard to keep them on. 

 

The Super Bowl

I thought you guys might like to see how I celebrated the Super Bowl. (Again sorry everything I post is so late. I'll try to be better about that.)

This was a package I received from Aunt Lisse before the big game!

 In the morning Sarah and I went and got balloons. 

 I put some outside of my apartment. 

 And decorated the inside. 

I just thought you guys would like to see these. *Dad I hope you notice on my coffee table next to my Giants hat and candle is your football picture. :-)
