Hiya Gdad, Hope you had a nice Easter weekend. It's been so strange not being home for ANY holiday this year. I have to tell you, I hated it. And hopefully it doesn't happen again. I got to Stacey's on Saturday just in time to dye some eggs and play some games. Stace and I took a trip to Wal Mart (so exciting, seriously, I don't have a Wal Mart near me- and they have cheap candles and cleaning supplies).
Maddox Ethan dyes his first egg. Look at those eyes!
Landy P is a pro at this point.
Landon is obsessed with this game called "Angry Birds" that we all have on our cell phones. The pigs are bad and the birds are good. You "shoot" the birds with a sling shot and try to hit the "bad piggys". Landon LOVES this game. At his request I attempted to make "Angry Birds" Easter eggs.
He loved them. He loved them SO much, that he wouldn't put them down. We kept saying numerous times that they were eggs and you needed to be gentle with them. When Stacey and I returned from Wal Mart I was greeted with " I accidentally broke your piggys eye, but the bird is still fine". After that I decided we should make some "Angry Bird" puppets. Paper has to be better to play with then eggs. Well... Landy LOVED this idea and we made puppets...for HOURS. We made every.single.character. in the game. Then we got his blocks and set up his very own, REAL Angry Birds.
*Please note- MANY more were made after this picture was taken. Many, Many more.
Stacey and Brendan's friends came over for dinner and the kids had an Easter egg hunt. I left after dinner (and after my laundry was done) and headed back to LA. Considering it wasn't in Waldorf, it was still a pretty good Easter.

Apartment Pics.
Greetings Grandad, As promised here are some pictures of the apartment. Let's start with the outside and work our way in shall we?
I would be that first window all lit up.
Now in we go...
So. This is my apartment. I know you've seen some of the furniture before, but maybe this gives you a better view. The flowers on the kitchen table were given to me by our neighbor Dee. She got them for her birthday but turned out to be allergic to them, and I gladly adopted them. I'm pretty proud of the apartment. Considering we came out here with only what could fit in our car, it's come quite a long way.
It was great talking to you today! Love you.

A letter from Devon.
Devon sent me a letter. In it he included $1, a picture and an Easter egg card he made. It made my week. He has great handwriting for a 10 year old boy. I loved it. Apparently he sent cards to Dad, Mom and the Timmon's family. Mom's card said "your letter is going to be short because my hand hurts from writing Poppy's letter, but here is a picture of us together" He is a funny boy that Devon.
A picture of us together.
He even decorated the envelope for me.
I promise I'll do apartment pictures soon. Once I get everything cleaned up and perfect picture ready. Love you Gdad.
Lola's.
I had a great weekend. Friday night I went and saw the new Arthur movie with some friends just around the corner. I thought it was funny. I wanted to see Jane Eyre again but got overruled.
Saturday I ran a bunch of errands. It was a birthday weekend. My friend Dee from down the hall (She's also from Md.) had a birthday brunch today. I wanted to make her a gift basket. Recently I got her into watching the show Glee. So I made her a Glee basket. With candles, and cd's and puzzles. Fun Stuff. Steph had a birthday party for Olivia yesterday also. She turned 2. I found books to send her (they are "Olivia" books. She is a little girl, who happens to be a pig that they've made cartoons about) I also found her a little Olivia doll to go along with her books.
Then Saturday night I went to a friends house and had a cook out. They made tri tip which turns out to be a Santa Maria style BBQ. It was delicious. And today was the Birthday Brunch. We had a Breakfast at Tiffany's style brunch at Lola's in West Hollywood. It was amazing. $10 bottomless mimosa's and egg's benedict with CRAB MEAT! Below are some pictures from the weekend.

And here's a nice picture of me wearing bunny ears. It is almost Easter.

Two Jane's.
So I love Jane Austin. I've only read P & P and Northanger Abbey, but I went ahead and bought, Emma, Sense & Sensibility and Persuasion. (Did I tell you the Border's by me is closing? They are selling everything, including the carpet. So I felt it was a good time to buy these books.) **However I didn't buy any carpet from them. I don't know why anyone would.
Last year for my birthday Marme bought me the complete Jane collection on CD. I listened to it all while driving from MD to CA. I love it. I'm starting a book club here with a couple friends. And I think the first book we are going to read is Emma. I'm pretty excited about it. I listened to Northanger again yesterday on my drives to and from Stacey's. And started listening to Emma today.
Well. My whole world turned upside down on Saturday. While talking to Marme she mentioned that I should go and see Jane Eyre. (meaning if I love Austin so much I would love Bronte) And I did. Because I'm a good daughter. And OH MY GOSH IT WAS AMAZING. I loved it. So much. I want to see it again. Which I probably will before the week ends.
So good. Love you.

Apartment Updates.
We got a new coffee table. There is an amazing thrift store run by the St. Vincent De Paul Society. They have the best collection of furniture I've ever seen in a thrift store. It is the same place where I found the different tables I painted. However, this find didn't need any painting or touch ups. All it required was a rainy drive home, and a few candles to spice it up a little.
This is my AWESOME picture that Pam's niece made and just happened to be my Christmas present. It came from England to Maryland and Maryland to California. It is quite a well traveled picture. It hangs above my bed. It reminds me that I came out here for a reason.

Home Sweet Apartment.
Saturday it was officially April, (technically it was also April on Friday but I fell asleep early and couldn't be productive). This means I needed to change my seasonal tree and update all my green, to...something else.
I decided to move some furniture around a bit, clean, and just try and spruce up the place.
I really like the changes. I'll post some pictures of the other rooms so you can have an updated view of my place. I'll call you soon. Love, Meagan
***Note, my Matryoshka Dolls on the little yellow table are from you. I think. xoxo

The Timmon's Fam.
Greetings Gdad,
Sunday I went down the Oceanside to spend some time with Stacey and family. We took the boys to some jungle gym play place that Landon seemed to greatly enjoy. I wore my "play clothes" which included tennis shoes so Landon and I could do all the glorious games he wished to play. Basketball, nature walk (with their puppy Gracie) play ground, blocks, cars, cards and finally drawing. It was a fun filled day.
It's always nice to go down to Stacey's. It means I do all my laundry, play with the boys, visit with my sister and have a nice home cooked meal. This time we had a Kimm classic. Chicken and Rice. It was almost like we were in Maryland.
