New Apartment Pictures

I just realized I haven't posted any pictures of my new apartment. I took these pictures right after we moved in and unpacked. A few things have changed. I'll take some more updated pictures and bedroom pictures to show you soon.

 Bedroom pictures.

That's an antler I took from Nathan. I turned it into a jewelry holder. :)

Missouri with Steph and Devon

This post is a little out of order but I haven't posted in such a long time I wanted to share them. Mom and I flew to Missouri to surprise Devon for his and Steph's bday. We had so much fun. We went on a drive through safari and it might have been one of the funniest experiences in my life.

Stephanie and I trying to pose. But I thought that thing might try to eat my hair.

Fall. It was so pretty.... and cold.
There was a small zoo like setting in the beginning of the park. We were able to get out and walk around before the drive through portion started. We saw some great animals but I think a lot of them were cold.

 Just missing Stacey.
 My cute boy.

Marme was very popular with the animals.

 Look at that thing!

And they came right up to the window!

Me x 4.

My awesome new computer lets me do fun things like this to my face.

LACMA

My friend invited me to LACMA with her for a live reading. They have actors come and do a read through of a popular movie. The movie was "Shampoo" which I have never seen. Kate Hudson played Goldie Hawn's character which was really cool. Diane Lane and Olivia Wilde were also there which was neat. The only person they didn't announce was the lead male. We tried guessing about who it would be but didn't come up with anything too great. I was VERY PLEASANTLY surprised when BRADLY COOPER came out. It was super exciting.

Check this out.

We stopped in Big Sur. Apparently this is the most expensive place to get gas. I did NOT fill up here. RIDICULOUS.

Trip up the coast...

I took the long trip up the coast to support my NY GIANTS in their fight against the San Francisco 49ers. We took the long way for the awesome views. A good portion of the drive is literally on the sides of mountains overlooking the water.

I saw a sign for "Elephant Seal Beach". With the exception of going to a zoo I had never seen seals in real life. We got out of the car and started walking towards the large group of people. I figured if so many people were there then you must be able to see something. As I was walking closer to the beach I thought there was a ton of driftwood covering the sand, BUT the "wood" started moving and I realized that they were all seals. HUGE ELEPHANT SEALS. They made so much noise but mainly just laid there. We stayed there and watched them for a while....until they all started attacking this one baby seal and then it got a little too "animal kingdom" for me and I had to leave.

 Seals EVERYWHERE!

We made lots of stops to take in the views.
Then it was game day. I came really close to getting tickets but I guess it is better that I didn't spend a huge amount of money (even though we won.)

The beginning of the day. Giants sweatshirt and earrings.

Driving across the Golden Gate Bridge.

This was the picture I took before the game...just in case we won.

This is my "Manning representing in San Fran" picture.

Even though my tickets fell through I did find a Giants bar to watch the game in. During commercial breaks they played Bruce Springsteen songs. It was glorious.

...and then we won. The trip was exhausting. But it was my first time in SF and I got to visit with my old college roommate. A pretty good way to spend a weekend.

Bangs!

I got a haircut. Nothing major but I did get bangs which was very exciting. :)
